From October 2023, EFC is involved in the construction of Nordstrand Ungdomsskole (Nordstrand Secondary School).
We build the exterior facade, interior walls and interior wall finishing and ceilings with various solutions. Our work should be completed in the summer of 2024. The client of the object is Oslobygg and the main contractor is Varden Entreprenør AS.
The old building of Nordstrand Secondary School was built in 1889. Normal schooling will continue there during construction of the new building.
The secondary school will be expanded from a school with three parallel classes to a school with four parallel classes. In addition, there will be an autistic department for 19 students. The new building spans two floors and accommodates four classrooms and four group rooms, a music hall, a music room, and an autism department, which is divided into three zones. In addition, the basement has a wardrobe room and technical facilities.
The new building has a total of 2,612 m² (BTA) and will be completed by the beginning of the 2025 school year.
