Our Story

Our company, founded in Norway in 2011, has extensive experience in delivering high-quality and sustainable construction projects. Today, our team consists over 150 experienced and dedicated professionals.

Our success is built on people. Many of our team members have been with the company for years. We invest continuously in the development and training of our staff because we believe that a motivated and professional team lays the foundation for every successful project.

HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) is at the core of everything we do. We apply a systematic approach to fulfilling HSE requirements to ensure a safe working environment and responsible practices at every level.

Over the years, we have established long-standing partnerships with Norway’s largest general contractors, and our projects are known for their high quality, reliability, and sustainable approach.

EFC Norge AS operates in the construction industry, specializing in interior and
exterior walls with high-quality metal and wooden frames. We prioritize sustainability
in material selection, energy efficiency, and waste reduction. Our sustainability
strategy is based on four pillars:

HSE is an integral part of all company activities.Our goal is to provide a safe and
healthy working environment for all employees and partners.
HSE Objectives:
1. Create a safe workplace focused on preventing accidents and health issues.
2. Minimize workplace accidents to zero annually.
3. Establish a strong HSE culture where everyone identifies and manages risks.

4. All employees must complete mandatory health, safety and environment
(HSE) training before starting work, to ensure that they have the necessary
knowledge and skills in the field of HSE.
5. Promote clear communication and collaboration in case of accidents or near-
misses.
6. Reduce sick leave to below 4.5%.

EFC Norge AS acknowledges the environmental impact of the construction industry and is committed to reducing its ecological footprint.

Energy and Emissions: We aim to reduce CO₂ emissions by implementing energy-efficient construction methods, using renewable energy sources where possible, and minimizing fossil fuel consumption in transportation and machinery. Our employees use electric vehicles to travel between their accommodation and the worksite.

Material Usage: We prioritize sustainable and certified materials, such as FSC-certified timber and recycled steel. We continuously strive to reduce material waste through efficient planning and responsible procurement.

Waste Management: We sort and recycle construction waste and work closely with main contractors to reduce waste levels across all our projects.

Workplace Safety: We adhere to strict HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) guidelines to ensure the protection and well-being of all workers on our construction sites. Training and regular safety audits are carried out in accordance with the Internal Control System of EFC Norge AS.

EFC Norge actively works to strengthen equality, diversity, and inclusion both internally and in our interactions with customers. As part of our efforts on equality and inclusion, we maintain close dialogue with employee representatives through EFC Club meetings. Recruitment: All recruitment and promotion decisions are based on competence, and all employees have equal opportunities regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background. However, it is essential that all employees have proficiency in Estonian or English, both written and spoken, to ensure safety, clear communication, well-being, and cultural understanding. Our policies and routines do not discriminate directly or indirectly. Due to the physical nature of construction work, some positions may not be suitable for applicants with reduced functional ability.

We carry out due diligence assessments to ensure that human rights are respected
throughout our supply chain. We evaluate our suppliers and subcontractors to verify
compliance with labour laws, ethical standards, and responsible business practices.

EFC Norge AS follows best practices in corporate governance to ensure ethical business conduct and full regulatory compliance.

Anti-Corruption Measures: We maintain strict policies against bribery and corruption. Employees who suspect any violations of these policies are encouraged to report them through our whistleblowing procedure.

Salary and Payments: All payments, including salaries, are made via bank transfer. We do not conduct cash payments.

Transparency and Reporting: We ensure clear and open communication with stakeholders and provide annual sustainability disclosures.
